The Competitive Breakin' League was established in 2014.
Founder: Antonio Castillo
The CBL Grew out of The Lab Breakin' School in Washington DC. What began as a way to give students a performance report soon became a scoring system. Since then, the CBL has held competitions around the country and developed the B-Score professional scoring systems along with a set of rules to organize the sport.
The CBL originally was focused on kid competition but began to expand to teen and adult Breakers soon after the initial competitions were held. The Box, the Competitive Breakin' Arena, similar to a Boxing Ring or a court provides a frame for battles and creates excitement for the audience. Competitors are deducted points when they step out side of the scoring area. For more information, please contact us at CompetitiveBreakin@gmail.com
